Three teams, three different cooking methods – who will come out on top? Schneider Haus staff, culinary historian Carolyn Blackstock, and special guest Chef Nick Benninger will battle it out and attempt to prepare a delicious dish with mystery 19th century ingredients using different historical cooking methods – from a wood fired cook stove and an open hearth, to a wood fired bake oven – which dish will come out on top – who will win the title of Cast Iron Chef? Join our guest judges: cookbook author Rose Murray, local food writer and restaurant reviewer Jasmine Mangalaseril, and Susan Cook Scheerer to find out.
